Project Details
Construction activities within Cotanchobee Park began in August 2021 to begin work on the 20’ diameter receiving shaft where the 78” Microtunnel will ultimately connect. The City worked closely with the Design-Build project team to minimize the temporary impacts to the park. The Riverwalk sidewalk was maintained accessible to the public, along with other park amenities on the western portion of the park. Park restoration will begin in December 2022 and be completed in early 2023. All areas of Cotanchobee Park will be fully restored to their pre-construction condition and use.
